9. Dryness.

Screen printing requires both that the ink on the screen can not dry the conjunctiva for a long time, and that after printing, the drying on the substrate should be as fast as possible. This keeps the prints clean, saves space, speeds up printing, and improves quality.

The dryness requirements of silk screen printing inks are especially prominent when multi-color continuous overprinting. Generally used drying methods are natural drying, hot air drying, ultraviolet drying, electron beam irradiation drying, infrared drying, microwave drying and other forms.

The dryness of the ink can be measured by simple methods. That is, a piece of 1.5 cm in width and 4 cm in length is produced. The screen printing plate of the image is well dried and the ink is printed on the substrate. Observing the ink, using non-adhesive paper as a standard, the time for drying the ink on such a substrate can be determined after how long it has been printed without sticking.

For screen printing, inks that are slower than the Internet and imprinted quickly are the ideal screen printing inks, resulting in light-set, thermoset, and hot-ink-cold inks.
